jagadish: What's with the bias against Firefox users? No spellcheck for us :( And I dont wanna use IE! Hmmm.. actually will download the new ad free complete version of Opera and see how it works on that...

FS: Has its own good things boss. For example, I can delete emails with the keyboard "delete" button, just like Outlook. I just hope its back door (if it has one) is better than the notorious Outlook Express's! And does not take too well to Firefox :(

I love the new interface. Its just that I have too many accounts in too many places to really settle down on yahoo mail as the default mail program.

But if I am a webmail user, I would certainly go for this new interface. The feeling is like as if you are using a mail client and does not look like a webmail interface at all.

My problem is that I got so used to the client-like UI, that when I clicked on mail options and went to the 'old' Yahoo screen, it felt plain. :-)

WTH, how come I haven't received any invites to beta test?! Am I going to have to beg for invites like gmail again? I signed up for the beta, like, 2 weeks ago. :(

Dev: I did not sign up :D It was on my main page when i logged on!

Rpm: One more point, it seems faster than the normal page. For some half hour this morning, the Internet in my work place went slow and the new Yahoo Mail Beta was the only page consistently coming up. This at a time when the guy sitting at the next cubicle was swearing at Yahoo cos he could not go past his inbox!

Anti: Just curious, how much of your space have you used up on Yahoo! mail?

anantha said...

Dev: Gotta see... I dunno how to do that in the new interface. Still getting used to it.

Prabhu: Will see it when I see it da. I don't care so much for a browser's appearance. But as long as the underground sport of "Find holes on IE" is popular with hackers and such, I am gonna stay away. But ya, tabbed browsing, thats a plus! Opera started it first, I think. And they have a ad-free full version out now. Gotta check that out. Have been using Opera since 2000/2001 and I love it!

There are more security holes in Firefox than IE da.
Just that IE's holes are advertised on a larger scale than Firefox.
